SMP Corrections – a natural look instead of a bad SMP
A poor SMP job isn't the end. Corrections are possible—but not at any cost. We restore your scalp’s natural appearance when it's truly achievable.
A poor SMP job isn't the end. Corrections are possible—but not at any cost. We restore your scalp’s natural appearance when it's truly achievable.
WHEN IS AN SMP JOB BAD?
These are the most common issues we see:
- Over‑large dots – blurred and unnatural
- Bluish or grey‑green tones
- Unnatural hairline – too high, too low, or 'ruler‑straight'
- Patchy results and poor density
- Pigment that has spread, migrated, or darkened
WHY DO MISTAKES HAPPEN?
In over 90% of cases, the cause is:
- lack of practitioner experience
- little or no training
- working without understanding scalp anatomy and facial aesthetics
- using the wrong tools and methods
SMP isn't a regular tattoo. It demands precise technique, an eye for detail, and experience.
EDUCATION IS KEY
The artist’s experience makes the difference between a natural result and one you wish to hide.
That's why at Micro Hair Clinic, besides corrections, we provide professional SMP education.
The industry needs more knowledge—not more rushed, unprofessional work.
HOW IS THE CORRECTION DONE?
Depending on the issue, we offer:
Hairline correction
- natural hairline shape, adapted to age and facial contours
- soft‑edge technique instead of harsh lines
Neutralizing wrong pigment tones
- corrective pigment applied in multiple thin layers
- particularly for blue/grey tones
Evening out density
filling in gaps
fixing patches and asymmetry
- corrective pigment applied in multiple thin layers
- particularly for blue/grey tones
WHEN CAN’T WE CORRECT?
In some cases, correction isn’t advisable:
- pigment is inserted too deep
- ink was used instead of SMP pigment
- pigment has fully migrated or has a strong wrong tone
- scalp skin is too damaged
We then avoid performing corrections
Instead, we recommend laser pigment removal together with certified clinics
Our goal isn't to 'cover up' the problem at any cost, but to offer a solution that truly looks natural.
If that's not possible—we'll tell you honestly.
Sometimes removal is the only path to a lasting solution.
ARE YOU A CANDIDATE?
Think about correction if:
- SMP job looks unnatural
- the hairline bothers you in the mirror
